I’m a husband to my amazing wife, Sierra, and a proud dad to our dog, Sebastian, and cat, Espurr. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember and have been playing drums since I was five years old. I’m naturally curious and love learning about just about anything.

I believe everyone is unique, with their own strengths, and that we should celebrate those differences in one another. I believe we should all strive to pursue our passions. For me, one of those passions is cinematography—and I’m committed to delivering my very best in every project I create.

In 2020 my brother Madison and his wife Casey began their journey with Done In Love Films. I was a part of that journey from the beginning as a second shooter for their first wedding and many weddings thereafter. As a second shooter I loved capturing stunning B-Roll footage and being the best support I could- setting up our equipment, double-checking settings, and making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. From Day 1 we took on a professional attitude that made every couple feel like they were taking care of- because if everything is running smoothly that means the couple can focus on their big day, which is the most important part of any wedding.

In 2021 Sierra and I got married. Casey and Madison happily volunteered to capture our wedding day and I finally knew what it felt like to be on the other side of the camera. Truly the best and most life changing day of our lives. After receiving our video I finally got to experience the excitement and treasure of having our film. My role as a second shooter meant even more to me now. I began to edit some of Done In Love Videos through some of those crazy years of double booked weekends, driving 3 hours to venues, and no days off.. With support from my brother and his wife I decided to take the leap to start From This Day films.

I chose the name From This Day because everything really is different from this day forward. Everything is the same, in a sense, but your relationship is now fortified by the commitment you and your spouse have made to each other. On your wedding day, when you make your vowels, you are telling the world that this is your person and that you will never leave their side. That's a powerful and impactful statement to make, and is historically the most important decision you will ever make in your life.
